How EzyRun handles data

We keep this simple and focused on what the product actually does. This page explains what we store, how analytics works, and where cookies or local storage are used.

What we collect

Plan inputs you provide, such as race distance, date, availability, and preferences, stored with an unguessable plan link.
Your account email address so you can save plans, sign in again, and access Premium if you upgrade.
Aggregate product analytics and page interaction data collected through PostHog.
Website and marketing measurement data collected through Google Analytics if you accept analytics cookies.

Analytics

How analytics works

We use Google Analytics for website and marketing measurement if you accept analytics cookies. We use PostHog to understand product behavior such as plan generation, calendar sync, calculator usage, and FAQ interactions.

If you decline analytics cookies, PostHog runs in a reduced cookieless mode intended to avoid storing identifiers in cookies or local storage and to avoid sending direct personal identifiers. In that mode we also avoid sending exact selected race dates in custom analytics events.

Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie required for the app to function. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and PostHog may also store analytics-related cookies or browser storage entries.

If you decline, we keep PostHog in a reduced cookieless mode and do not load Google Analytics.

Data retention

Plans may be retained to allow access through your plan link. If you need help or want us to review something, contact us.
